Rabbi Julie Roth reflects on the role of God and theology in the lives of college students. A clip from “Doing Jewish Theology Today: God, Torah, and Israel in Modern Judaism.”

The program, which is JTS’s Henry N. Rapaport Memorial Lecture, explores directions in Jewish theology that can speak to Jews in the twenty-first century. This event also celebrates Rabbi Gillman’s remarkable career at JTS.
