All–Shall Be–Holy

Then he took
Perhaps that was the problem
That he took
And didn’t give

And now we all know
Koraḥ’s sin
Was arrogance
And malice
Because he said
that he
that we
are all holy
that within us
Is Divinity
Already

And he was not right?

I know that
Holy
Is what we will be
That it is an endless goal
Even though I believed that he was right
And I still believe
That there is indeed within us

Sanctity
Sacred incense

Divine Presence
Divine Harmony

If one human sins
Will You be angry with the whole community?

And will there not be more like Koraḥ and his company?

And yet
Then you shall say to them—you shall be holy, for I am holy
But what is it to be holy?
And who—or what—am I?

האיש אחד יחטא
ועל כל־העדה תקצף?

ולא־יהיה כקרח וכעדתו?

ועוד
ואמרת אלהם—קדשים תהיו, כי קדוש אני
אבל מה זה להיות קדוש?
ומי—או מה—אני?
