Remembering Dr. Samuel Klagsbrun (z”l)

JTS mourns the death of Dr. Samuel Klagsbrun (z”l), a skilled psychiatrist, professor, and advocate. Dr. Klagsbrun received a Seminary College degree from JTS in 1954 and later went on to receive a medical degree. Dr. Klagsbrun taught pastoral psychiatry for many years to JTS students, was an important resource during the creation of The Center for Pastoral Education, and provided great assistance before the JTS Counseling Center was established.
