Your Place in Our Story: A Storytelling Workshop for Davidson Alumni
A virtual workshop for Davidson Alumni
Monday, March 18, 2019
7:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m.
Storytelling is an art that can enhance your connection with others, deepen your own understanding of an experience, or help promote a cause, program, or ideal.
Join us to learn the art and technique of great storytelling with Jennifer Rudick Zunikoff, Jewish storyteller and educator and director of The Golden Door: Storytelling for Social Justice.
By the end of the webinar you will learn how to:
- Build a foundation for your story
- Use imagery to connect with your audience
- Use a three-part method for giving and receiving appreciative feedback
After this two-hour workshop, Jennifer is generously available for one individual 30-minute follow-up session with each participant.
We are seeking three volunteers to work privately with Jennifer ahead of time and then present their story at the webinar to demonstrate to demonstrate several different stories. You can indicate your willingness to volunteer when you register for the workshop.
Note: Please register for online login and call-in information.
