Since October 7 college campuses have drawn a great deal of attention from the media regarding their Israel/Palestine activism. However, little focus has been given to the way students learn inside the classroom. Join Dr. Michal Raucher to hear about her experiences teaching a large undergraduate course on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict last fall. She will discuss her approach to teaching the conflict honed over ten years, the challenges raised by October 7 among a particularly diverse student body, how she pivoted to keep students engaged in learning, and the course’s impact beyond the classroom.
If you have previously registered for another session in this series, your registration admits you to all sessions in the series, and you may attend as many as you’d like.
The Zoom link for all sessions in the Timely Insights, Timeless Wisdom series will be in the confirmation email that you receive after you register.
