Jessica Fisher is in her fourth year of rabbinical school at the Jewish Theological Seminary and has served as rabbinic intern in Conservative synagogues in the New York area, Chicago, Cincinnati, and Israel. As a chaplaincy intern, she worked with elders and with formerly incarcerated individuals. Originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, Jessica first moved to New York to attend the joint program between JTS and Columbia University, where she earned bachelor’s degrees in Midrash and the History of Social Inequality in the Americas.
