JTS offers exceptional summer learning opportunities to students at a wide range of levels, for both credit and non-credit study. Through our three summer sessions, students can enroll in intellectually stimulating courses with some of the world’s finest scholars in Jewish studies. Summer Session I is for undergraduates only. Both graduate and undergraduate students can take courses in Summer Session II and Summer Session III.

JTS Summer Sessions
Summer Session III provides graduate-level classes that use original texts to explore a range of topics, from Worship in Ancient Israel to the Culture of Humor in Modern Jewish History. Dates: July 6 – August 6, 2021

This three-week program offers an opportunity for undergraduate students to take an intensive course in Jewish studies at the beginning of the summer, before embarking on summer activities. Dates: April 30 – May 14, 2021
