“JTS Days”: Visiting the JTS Campus
JTS welcomes groups – including alumni, synagogues, leadership cohorts, professional affiliates, individuals, donors, and more – to explore our vibrant campus. JTS Days are tailored for each group, offering visitors an intimate opportunity to connect with JTS’s rich history and learn how it aligns with our vision for the Jewish future.
JTS Days can include a campus tour, a Rare Book Room experience, access to the current Library exhibit, interactions with students, learning sessions with faculty, and opportunities to attend campus special events. Click here to learn more about planning your visit.
Recently, The Jewish Center of Princeton, accompanied by JTS alum Rabbi Andi Merow, spent time on campus. Guests learned with Rabbi Gordon Tucker, toured the campus, explored the Rare Book Room and current Library exhibit, and attended a senior sermon delivered by one of our graduating Rabbinical School students.
JTS Days also provide meaningful opportunities to thank and honor those who support the institution. Recently, we were delighted to welcome Susan and Rabbi Jonathan Lubliner, an alum and the Jack F. Shorstein Senior Rabbinic Chair of Jacksonville Jewish Center, for the dedication of a mezuzah in memory of his parents, Sylvia and Rabbi Immanuel Lubliner (z”l). At the ceremony, Rabbi Lubliner shared, “The JTS education that both my father and I received – he from the Teachers Institute and Rabbinical School, and I from the Rabbinical School – left an inedible mark on my parents and our family.” He further expressed his gratitude, crediting JTS for his family’s success as Jewish leaders.
Earlier this year, 39 visitors from Chaverim of Fox Hills in Rockaway, NJ, visited the Library exhibit “Illuminating Sacred Text” and the Rare Book Room.
