A Prayer of Thanks on the Return of the Hostages

“Give thanks to the Lord, who is good, whose mercy endures forever. Let the redeemed of the Lord say, whom God has redeemed from the hand of the adversary…who sat in darkness and in the shadow of death, being bound in affliction and iron…Let them give thanks for God’s mercy and for God’s wonderful works to humankind; Let them exalt God in the assembly of the people.”
