MFA in Creative Writing Admissions
Program Overview
The MFA in Creative Writing is a four-semester, two-year program, combining in-person residencies at JTS with personalized study and mentorship from our faculty of world-renowned authors and storytellers. The low-residency model allows students the flexibility to pursue their studies from anywhere in the world.
Over the course of the program, students will build community, hone their craft, and experiment with different methods of storytelling while working towards the development, production, and completion of a substantial narrative piece.
We are accepting Fall 2026 applications through March 1, 2026.
