Letter from Editor

Dear Reader,

Over the past year, I have had the pleasure of serving as the editor of The Source. It has been a joy to work with Dean Perten to publish a series of articles that show the very best that this wonderful community has to offer. This year’s issue is entitled “L’Dor V’Dor: Honoring JTS Family Legacies.” Through interviews with List College sibling and first cousin pairs with family ties to JTS, I aim to show that the impact of a JTS education, especially on an undergraduate student, is far-reaching and deeply personal. I also sought to highlight the creative work of current students, each an artist in their own medium, who are using their art to express identity, tradition, and vision for the future. I hope that as you read, you feel my passion for the JTS community and share in the hope to see it thrive– for now and for generations to come.
