Develop your skills in translating passages of the Tanakh independently. In 10 live online sessions, we will read and workshop passages selected by the instructor and participants, using a variety of resources including Accordance Bible Software and Dr. Moster’s Tanakh cards. We will approach grammar inductively, exploring linguistic phenomena as they come up in our study of the selected passages. Participants will be encouraged to complete a short assignment for each class.

Prerequisite: Completion of the “Jumpstart Your Biblical Hebrew” course in fall 2021, or the ability to translate any three biblical verses on your own without the assistance of a translation.

Recordings will be available for those unable to attend a session.

If you’re not sure if this course is right for you or you’d like further information, please contact lyfeinman@jtsa.edu.

Cost: $350 (Limited financial assistance available)
