Lunchtime Learning with JTS

Spend lunchtime with The Jewish Theological Seminary and encounter compelling scholarship that brings Jewish texts and wisdom to bear on contemporary challenges. All sessions meet from 12:30 to 1:45 p.m.

Series Two

Dr. David Kraemer, Joseph J. and Dora Abbell Librarian and professor of Talmud and Rabbinics, will discuss components of the justice system developed by Rabbinic Judaism and how it compares to the current US legal system.

  • Tuesday, March 7: “The Status of Witness Testimony”
  • Tuesday, March 21: “Burden of Proof”
  • Tuesday, April 4: “Capital Punishment”
