The Jewish Early Childhood Education Leadership Institute (JECELI) was established to provide intensive professional leadership development for Jewish early childhood educators. During the 10 years JECELI programs were conducted, Dr. Lyndall Miller and her colleagues promoted leadership learning involving self-awareness, cultural context, and Judaic content. The JECELI Leadership Guide is based on the processes and approaches that were most successful during these sessions.

About the Instructor

Dr. Lyndall Miller served as director of the Jewish Early Childhood Education Leadership Institute (JECELI), a project of the William Davidson Graduate School of Jewish Education at JTS, from 2011-2021. Her doctoral research focused on exploring the synergy between leadership capacities in early childhood education Jewish leadership dispositions. She is currently a consultant and mentor for Jewish early childhood programs.
