Join us for the opening celebration of “Genesis: The Beginning of Creativity,” an interfaith visual art exhibition based on the Genesis narratives as seen through the lenses of contemporary Islam, Christianity, and Judaism. The exhibit will include works by 13 Jewish, Christian, Islamic, and secular artists reflecting on these seminal stories of religious world literature. There will also be a panel discussion on the “The Art of Creation” featuring Rabbi Burt Visotzky, Daisy Khan, and Karenna Gore, moderated by artist/curator Richard McBee.

The exhibit is presented by the Milstein Center for Interreligious Dialogue at JTS in partnership with the Jewish Art Salon and Caravan. It is part of larger exhibition, “Genesis: The Beginning of Creativity,” at three New York City venues: JTS, The Interchurch Center, and Riverside Church.
