The Milstein Center for Interreligious Dialogue is pleased to welcome Ori Z. Soltes to JTS to discuss his latest book, Between Thought and Action, which explores the life and the thought of Turkish Imam and scholar Fethullah Gülen and the important educational and peacemaking activities that he and those inspired by him have been engaged in for several decades.
There will be an opportunity for sale of the book and signing by the author.
About the Author

Ori Z. Soltes teaches theology, art history, philosophy and political history at Georgetown University. He is the former director of the B’nai B’rith Klutznick National Jewish Museum. As a scholar and curator, he has authored or edited 28 books and several hundred articles and essays and curated more than 80 exhibitions on aspects of ethnography, history, and contemporary art.
