Special Benefits and Resources

  • Library Privileges
    Research, explore, and access the incomparable JTS Library. Join The Library with a reduced user fee ($50 annually for the first five years after graduation and $100 annually for subsequent years) and borrow up to four books for four weeks, subject to current renewal and overdue regulations.
  • JTS Classes
    Learn from and study with your favorite faculty, and audit the equivalent of three credits per semester, including summer sessions, with full tuition exemption. Ancillary fees apply ($250/course; this fee is waived for retired rabbis who are active RA members). Contact the Registrar for more information.
  • Financial Aid Counseling
    Take advantage of the individualized guidance you received as a student. The director of Financial Aid is available at financialaid@jtsa.edu to help you through ongoing student-loan processes.
  • Request a Transcript
    The Registrar’s Office provides services related to courses, registration, grades, and transcripts. Contact the Registrar for assistance.

  • Columbia Alumni Association (CAA) Arts Access
    For $25, JTS alumni can join the CAA Arts Access program. When signing up online, enter “JTS” and your year of graduation in the Class Year field; JTS will not appear as a choice in the School drop-down menu. For more information, call (212) 851-1879 or email alumniarts@columbia.edu.
  • Columbia University Club
    JTS alumni are eligible for membership in the Columbia University Club of New York to gain access to events, dining, fitness facilities, guest rooms, and reciprocal access to clubs around the world. For more information, please contact the club at (212) 719-0380.
  • Dodge Fitness Center (must be a Columbia University alum)
    Columbia University alumni enjoy a reduced annual membership. Please see the Dodge Fitness Center membership website for rates and further information.
