Join the Hereld Institute for Jewish Studies of JTS for the 30th annual program in the JTS Outreach Tampa Bay Lecture Series.

March 19 and March 20, 2017

In the first of two lectures, Dr. Alan Cooper, Elaine Ravich Professor of Jewish Studies and Provost, JTS, will explore some of the surprising teachings surrounding Moses’s family. Given Moses’s stature as lawgiver and foremost of the prophets, the Bible’s inattention to his lineage is remarkable.
