What a catastrophe means depends on how it is represented. This presentation by Sol and Evelyn Henkind Chair in Yiddish Literature and Culture and Professor of Jewish Literature Dr. David G. Roskies will look at the cover art of the major works of Holocaust literature to see how the events of 1938-1945 were transformed into a visual vocabulary recognized the world over.
