Rabbi Ed Bernstein (RS ’71), spiritual leader of Temple Torat Emet, will discuss the recent book he edited, Love Finer Than Wine: The Writing of Matthew Eisenfeld and Sara Duker. Eisenfeld and Duker were leaders and idealists who dreamed of fixing a broken world. Their dreams were shattered n February 25, 1996, when they were murdered on the Number 18 Bus in Jerusalem. They left behind windows into their souls, the writing in which Matt and Sara contemplate life’s most fundamental questions.
