Hanukkah gives us an occasion to think beyond the miracle(s) associated with the holiday to the broader historical and philosophical status of the miraculous in a life of faith. By attending to classical texts, medieval thinkers, contemporary skeptics, and modern spiritual masters, we will try to reach an understanding of this elusive element of our tradition that is sustainable in our lives.
This program is open to rabbis of any denomination ordained by recognized rabbinical schools and is offered in partnership with the Rabbinical Assembly.
Session will be recorded and the recording sent to all registered participants.
