Hank Greenberg, Molly Goldberg, Alexander Portnoy, Fran Drescher—all are American Jewish icons who have entered the American cultural mainstream. They remind us just how far we’ve come, in only a few generations, as American Jews. As we look at the evolution of our integration into America, we’ll explore what makes us Jewish in today’s world, and what it will take to ensure our Jewishness in the generations to come.
