Tuesday May 14:
Dialogue Across Divides: Talking about Israel in the American Jewish Community
In recent years, members and leaders of the American Jewish community have come to avoid meaningful discussions related to Israel for fear of stirring up division and rancor because of the contentiousness and emotional charge surrounding this topic. Dr. Gruenberg, drawing on his training with Resetting the Table and extensive experience as a facilitator, will help participants learn and practice the skills of dialogue facilitation that promote deep conversation and civil debate about sensitive topics like the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and the Israel-Diaspora relationship.

Wednesday May 15:
Master Class on Israeli Culture with Dr. Rachel Korazim
This session will focus on the theme “Messages from Auschwitz, Lessons From Sinai.” Dr. Korazim will use poetry, literature, and song to paint a picture of modern Israel. She will provide both content and tools for how to use these texts and tools and to bring them to your students, congregations, and organizations.

The sessions are free but registration is required.
