Ivry Prozdor

Students of the Rebecca and Israel Ivry Prozdor High School experience the joy of Jewish study within the intellectually rigorous, emotionally supportive, and ethically responsible community of The Jewish Theological Seminary.

Here, they develop the textual, linguistic, and interpretive skills that comprise the foundations of Jewish literacy. Through study and practice, students explore their roles among the Jewish people and their relationships with God and Torah, family and community, and America and Israel. They grow as people, as Jews, and as leaders of their communities.

Today the program, under the auspices of JTS's William Davidson Graduate School of Jewish Education, serves students in grades seven through twelve from all Jewish religious and educational backgrounds. Prozdor students are typically energetic, enthusiastic, original, and curious and are in search of a Jewish education that sparks their imagination. They attend public and private schools and balance their Prozdor commitment with numerous other involvements. Students and alumni are united by their high motivation, creativity, and desire to deepen their Jewish knowledge.
