At the Office of Residence Life, we strive to create an atmosphere in the residence halls that is conducive to Jewish living and that complements the JTS academic experience. We encourage the practice of a full range of Jewish values within the context of the Conservative Movement, providing opportunities for social bonding, community building, self-exploration, and personal growth. We believe deeply in the principles of respect, understanding, leadership, and social responsibility. Our residents come from a diversity of religious, ethnic, and social backgrounds, and our aim is to provide housing facilities that will make our students proud of their time at JTS.

It is our hope that both incoming and current students will use this site as a resource for valuable information on JTS policies and for new and updated features, such as lifestyle links. Incoming students and their families will find parts of this site particularly helpful in preparing for the JTS application and admission process. Important dates, policy revisions, and housing cost revisions are updated and published on this site.
