Take shorter showers.

A standard shower head uses about five to seven gallons of water per minute (gpm), so even a five-minute shower can consume thirty-five gallons! JTS has installed low-flow showerheads in all of its dorms. These showerheads use 1.5-2.5 gpm. If you don't live on campus, consider installing one and cutting your water use by 50-80 percent.
