-When paper guards were removed from the spine folds, notations, perhaps by the scribe, were found in the margins of folios 11r, 14r and 16r, indicating what the initial word to be placed in the panel should be. It is rare to find such notations since they were usually erased during the making of the manuscript.

-While examining fols. 18r, 19v, 44r and 45v under the microscope, slight changes were discovered, indicating that the original graphite preparatory sketches were modified by the ink preparatory drawings.
