Prospective students and their parents are invited to join us for an open house to get a taste of Prozdor, an inspiring, innovative center for Judaic and Hebrew studies for teens across the New York metropolitan area.
Prozdor meets Sundays at JTS, bringing together a diverse group of teens to access classical Jewish texts, improve their Hebrew, and find contemporary meaning in the concepts and values of Jewish tradition. Guided by dedicated faculty, students are encouraged to ask the questions that matter to them and develop answers that speak authentically to them as young Jews in the 21st century.
Open house schedule
• 10:00–11:30 a.m.: Prospective students and parents experience Prozdor classes
• 11:30 a.m.–noon: Prospective students enjoy light refreshments and schmoozing with current students
• Noon–12:30 p.m.: Information session for prospective parents with Prozdor director Avi Garelick
• Noon–1:30 p.m.: Optional—prospective students and parents are welcome to join Hebrew language classes
Another Prozdor open house will take place on Sunday, May 5.
