“Kids and Power-Talk: Talking about Gender in Jewish Education,” with Dr. Shira Epstein, Assistant Professor of Jewish Education in the William Davidson Graduate School of Jewish Education, JTS

In the era of #metoo, how do we talk with kids about gender, power, status, h Education,”and violence? How might we draw upon our biblical stories to support us in this work? This session will explore the possibilities and opportunities for incorporating these conversations into Jewish learning.

The JTS lecture will be preceded by a class with a local clergy member.
