JTS’s turnkey curricula were designed to give communities easy access to thoughtful, relevant, and top-notch scholarship, and to give rabbis and educators the tools to teach engaging, high-level courses to their congregants and students.
Join our upcoming demo session and learn more about Beyond Dispute: Debates that Shape Jewish Life, which was released earlier this year, as well as our first turnkey curriculum, The Ethical Life: Jewish Values in an Age of Choice, which has been taught in over 130 synagogues.
Rabbi Julia Andelman, director of Community Engagement, will walk participants through each of the elements of the curricula—including the video lectures, participant materials, and the Leader’s Guide, an extensive collection of pedagogical resources. We will discuss how to effectively use the course materials, including for teaching over Zoom. Two rabbis in the field who have recently taught Beyond Dispute will share additional insights.
