Dr. David G. Dalin’s Jewish Justices of the Supreme Court, from Brandeis to Kagan is the first history of the eight Jews who have served or currently serve on the US Supreme Court. Dalin examines their lives and legal careers, as well as the changing role of Jews within the American legal profession. Dalin will discuss his book with Dr. Shuly Rubin Schwartz, Irving Lehrman Research Associate Professor of American Jewish History at JTS.
