Rabbinical School Dean Discusses Shabbat
JTS’s Rabbi Daniel Nevins opens this Monday-night series centered on the ways that Conservative Judaism responds to contemporary issues. Rabbi Nevins’s lecture is called “Black Sabbath: Electricity and Electronics on Shabbat.” Several JTS alumni will also teach during the series, which continues through December 19.
