Fitting Kesher Hadash (KH) Into the Experiential Track (ELI)

Second Year:
While ELI non-KH students are taking electives, ELI KH students will take Translating Jewish Theology and Developmental/Foundations/Other instead. As a result, all students will be taking the same number of credits, just in a different order.
With some minor adjustments, this set-up will also work for non-ELI KH students.
Balancing Kesher Hadash and Pedagogic Skills
Students participating in Kesher Hadash are still able to take on a part-time teaching job in the fall and satisfy this requirement of the Pedagogic Skills course. However, they will be unable to continue this job during their spring semester in Israel. If you will be participating in Kesher Hadash, please use the explanatory letter from Dean Barry Holtz to help you communicate with employers about your scheduling needs.
