Free databases are not listed here. Some of the most useful databases are non-subscription: RAMBI, ERIC and Berman Jewish Public Policy Archive (over 1,000 full-text articles and recent reports on Jewish education) are free! Access them via Online Resources.

Digitized Books from the JTS Digital Collections: Includes rare books, pamphlets and manuscripts.
Encyclopedias, Dictionaries, and other Reference Resources: Encyclopedia Judaica 2nd ed., Encyclopedia of Jews in the Islamic World, Oxford English Dictionary, Rav Milim (a Hebrew dictionary), and other reference materials are available via Remote Access.
Dissertations: An extensive database of full-text dissertations from U.S. and foreign universities is available via the ProQuest Dissertations database. Please access it via Remote Access login.
eBooks: Selected books in the JTS library are available as eBooks. They are accessible off-campus via Remote Access login. Choose Ebrary eBooks. Search by author, title, subject, or words in full-text. To see a list of our eBooks by discipline, click on "Browse All Titles."
Bar-Ilan Responsa Database: Bible, Mishnah, Talmud, Midrash, codes, commentaries, Responsa, and hundreds of other Rabbinic texts, with sophisticated searching capabilities. Available via Remote Access login. For best results, set your browser to enable cookies, and download the latest version of Java.
Hebrew Books: An extensive collection of Hebrew books is available via www.hebrewbooks.org.
WorldCat: Find a copy of a book in a library near you via www.worldcat.org.
Interlibrary Loan (ILL): Request your local library to borrow, on your behalf, a book from The JTS Library or another research library.
