Blackboard Home Page

Once you have logged in to the Blackboard site:

You will be greeted with a Welcome Page. This page will identify you by your first name and list the course(s) in which you are enrolled. Under your name, you should see several boxes, titled Tools, My Courses, My Calendar, My Tasks, and My Announcements.

• Under Tools, you can choose to view your grades, send email to professors and/or classmates, and view and edit your personal information.

• My Calendar is your personal calendar to which you may add and edit events.
• In My Tasks, you may add and edit tasks and reminders for yourself.
• In the My Announcements box, you are able to view annoucements relevant to you.
• In My Courses, you should see the courses in which you are enrolled.

To enter a specific course site on Blackboard, click on the name of the course in the My Courses box. Each course name displayed is a hyperlink that takes you to that specific course's homepage when you click it.
