A Visit to the Rabbinical School

There is no better way to picture yourself at JTS than to visit JTS. The faculty, students, and administration of The Jewish Theological Seminary and The Rabbinical School are eager to meet you. Come daven with us. Visit our classrooms (the professors love it!). Join us in the beit midrash, which is available for quiet learning or an impromptu hevruta session. Browse the world-class JTS Library. Heed the call of Riverside Park as it beckons you for a walk. Let us show you the best coffee house in the neighborhood.

We organize Open Houses each year in October and March, but you are welcome to visit us at any time. The director of Admissions and our student Admissions interns will gladly work with you to put together an excellent campus and neighborhood itinerary. We're often able to host visitors for Shabbat, so you can get a feel for the life of a rabbinical student outside of class as well. JTS is located at 122nd and Broadway, near the 116th Street stop on the 1 train of the New York City subway system. From Penn Station, you can be here in less than 30 minutes. Please be in touch by email at rsadmissions@jtsa.edu or phone at (212) 678-8817. We look forward to seeing you at JTS.
