Honoring Dean Steven M. Brown

Dean Steven M. Brown will be honored on April 9, 2008, at The Jewish Theological Seminary from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a festive program in salute to a beloved leader who has inspired true creativity in his five-year tenure as dean. The William Davidson Graduate School of Jewish Education Board of Advisors invites one and all to join in bidding this "educator of many hats" farewell. 

With great fervor, the Davidson Advisory Board has also seeded a special scholarship fund to create the Rabbi Steven M. Brown, EdD, Fellowship program. The board's initial contribution has been offered as a challenge to the larger community to help build this fund and its critical impact on the field of Jewish Education. 

Finally, Dean Brown will be presented with a commemorative scrapbook on April 9, and submissions (no larger than 8 1/2" x 11") for inclusion should arrive by March 31 to Marion Dienstag at 3080 Broadway, New York, NY, 10027. Please RSVP to madienstag@jtsa.edu if you would like to attend.
