All List College graduates benefit from free membership in the Young Alumni Division (YAD). In addition to programs like the YAD Sukkah Dinner, the Links to Leadership Retreat, and the List College Newsletter, alumni benefits include access to Alumni Career Services at List College.
Whether you graduated last year or ten years ago, the director of Career Development is available to assist YAD members with career issues ranging from relocation and transition to résumé writing and interview protocol. In-person or telephone appointments [(212) 678-8826] can be scheduled to meet alumni needs.
List College Advisory Board
Alumni can connect with members of the List College Advisory Board for additional career-related assistance. The Advisory Board includes a wealth of professionals in many different fields who can help in career development.
Alumni Career Services at Columbia University and Barnard College
Alumni are encouraged to reach out to these offices and also to attend programs and career sessions at either institution to further assist their efforts.
Whether you are starting a career search or relocating to a new city, the director of Career Development can help you connect with List alumni in your area of professional or geographic interest—even abroad.
List College hosts two YAD listservs: L-YAD-Announce, for all alumni, and L-YAD-Israel, for alumni who are living in Israel.
To be added to either listserv, please email Melissa Friedman. You can also reach out to your local Columbia or Barnard alumni group. Double Degree alumnae have access to all three organizations.
Alumni are encouraged to return to List College to help lead evening workshops which explore different aspects of the job search, such as Career Development Workshops and Senior Forums, both facilitated by the director of Career Development.
If you are interested in lending your expertise, please email the Office of Career Development.
