Rabbi Marc Wolf is a former vice chancellor, director of Community Engagement, of The Jewish Theological Seminary. Rabbi Wolf works to broaden the reach of the learning, leadership, and vision of JTS through strategic educational partnerships, public education, digital engagement and learning, and programs of professional development for JTS graduates and Jewish professionals.
Rabbi Wolf was the lead curriculum writer for Chancellor Eisen’s Mitzvah Initiative; is the author of numerous JTS Weekly Torah Commentaries; serves as the rabbi of the JTS High Holiday services, which have been free and open to the public for decades; and has appeared in the New York Times and on NPR and CNN, writing and speaking on religion and philanthropy. He lives in White Plains, New York, with his wife, Rebecca, a Jewish educator, and their three children.
