The only thing more challenging than choosing the ideal college is paying for it. Fortunately, List College is committed to helping each student realize his or her educational dreams. No one should hesitate to apply for admission because of financial concerns, and all applicants should apply for financial aid. Financial-aid applications are due March 1. Do not wait for an admissions decision to apply for financial aid. Financial-aid applications are available at the Office of Financial Aid, or call (212) 678-8007. Find more information about tuition and fees.
In addition to need-based aid, List College considers each admitted student for a variety of merit awards; no additional application is necessary. Regular and early-decision candidates are evaluated for each of the following awards:

Several scholarships are available by application for continuing students:
The Fellowship in Jewish Social Entrepreneurship (FJSE) was launched in January 2009. FJSE provides training and support to List College students who wish to enhance their skills as Jewish social entrepreneurs who are equipped to tackle major social issues and offer new ideas for wide-scale change. The fellowship is open to students in their junior or senior years who have had previous volunteer or paid experience in the social sector.
Throughout the 2009–2010 academic year, fellows will serve as interns at organizations in fields related to education, hunger, the environment, or health care. Interns will commit to ten-to-twelve hours per week of service. In addition, participants will attend a biweekly seminar designed to help cultivate connections between Judaism, activism, and professional achievements. A $5,000 stipend will be offered to participants in the fellowship.
The Fellowship in Jewish Social Entrepreneurship offers exciting opportunities for off-campus engagement with leaders in the world of social entrepreneurship, networking with professionals working in a field of interest, and skill building in areas such as budgeting, long-range planning, fund-raising, and conflict resolution. What makes the FJSE unique is the opportunity to synthesize Jewish learning and values with the commitment to civic engagement, social service, and justice.
Fellowship applications are available on our website or in the List College office.

Undergraduate Awards in Jewish Education
List College sponsors three awards for continuing students who intend to pursue careers in the field of Jewish education:
Students apply for these awards according to the schedule published by the Dean's Office each spring.
Summer Internship Scholarship Fund
The family of Elie Schwartz (z"l) has established a scholarship fund at List College to honor his memory. The fund will be used for students interested in careers in business, providing summer stipends that will enable List College students to take unpaid internships to explore aspects of the business world. In establishing the scholarship fund, Elie's family hopes to meet a real need at the college while perpetuating Elie's love for both Jewish life and business.
Students involved in unpaid internships are eligible for this scholarship grant, which is awarded on a competitive basis. Award amounts vary, depending on the duration of the internship, merit of the internship, and available funding. Students apply for this award according to the schedule published by the Dean's Office each spring.
