New Student Orientation

Student Life, Residence Life, and the five academic schools organize orientation programs for incoming undergraduate and graduate students.

Our goal is to help ease the transition of all new students into the JTS and Morningside Heights community and greater New York City through informational, social, and Jewish life programming.

We look forward to welcoming all new students at the end of August.

Sunday, August 28: Residence Halls open at 8:00 a.m. for all residents attending Orientation.

Sunday, August 28–Sunday, September 4: List College Orientation. Learn more about List College Orientation.

Monday, August 29: The Davidson School, The Rabbinical School, and H. L. Miller Cantorial School orientations begin.

Tuesday, August 30: The Graduate School orientation begins.
