Tuition and Fees

Students in the Dual Degree program pay tuition and fees separately to JTS and Columbia University School of Social Work. Annual costs will depend in part on the number of credits taken at each school.

Financial Aid

Merit-based scholarships and fellowships are available from The Graduate School of The Jewish Theological Seminary for students enrolled full time in the Jewish Studies and Social Work program from endowed funds:

• Phyllis and Gerald Haas Graduate Fellowship in Jewish Communal Service
• The Hearst Endowed Scholarship Fund
• Klagsbrun Scholarship Fund for Jewish Leadership
• The Sylvia and Julius Pollak Scholarship for Michigan Students

Information on eligibility and applying for The Graduate School merit-based aid should be directed to the program adviser at socialwork@jtsa.edu.

Scholarships and fellowships are available from other Jewish communal organizations for students in the Jewish Studies and Social Work program. Among them are:

• JCC Association Graduate Education Scholarship Program
• JFNA Executive and Recruitment Program (FEREP)
• UJA Federation of NY-Wiener Educational Center's Graduate Student Fellowships
• Wexner Foundation Fellowship

Need-based financial aid for eligible students is available from both JTS and CUSSW. Inquiries should be directed to the financial aid office at each school.
