Study Concentrations

Personal choice shapes each student’s experience at the Ivry Prozdor. Each year, students choose a Sunday concentration:

  • Beit Midrash: Intensive study of Talmud, Midrash, and other rabbinic texts using the original texts. Students take one period of Tarbut Ivrit and two periods of Beit Midrash study.
  • Intensive Hebrew: (NETA) For those students who want to learn to speak, read, and write modern Hebrew or want to greatly improve their existing knowledge of Hebrew, we offer the NETA program. Students take a double period of Hebrew, taught Ivrit b’Ivrit (Hebrew in Hebrew), and an elective class (in English).
