Rhonda Rosenheck, principal emerita of the Rebecca and Israel Ivry Prozdor High School (1999–2002), has returned home to teach. “I love everything about teaching at Prozdor, and have missed it these years away,” she says. Rhonda has been a Jewish educational entrepreneur and a bit of a maverick. She left Prozdor to cofound a progressive Jewish high school, and later took over leadership at a struggling Schechter elementary school to determine its viability, turn it around, or shut it down gracefully. Rhonda is a board member of the Solomon Schechter Day School Association. A Jewish educator since 1983, she holds an MA in Jewish Education from JTS, and is "ABD" (All But Dissertation toward a doctorate) there as well. She was a fellow in Hebrew University's Senior Educator Program, the Mandel Teacher Educator Institute, and JTS and AVI CHAI’s Day School Leadership Training Institute.
