Honors Program

Honors Program

Honor students will attend Ivry Prozdor four hours a week on Sundays at JTS and two hours midweek through an affiliate synagogue program, online, through participation in an ongoing community service project, or by participating in HaZamir. Students studying through a synagogue program must inform the Ivry Prozdor Office to receive prior permission. At the end of the year, credit will be applied when the office receives a letter of recommendation from the director or rabbi of the affiliate program. Honor Student will be so designated on any student's transcript who participates in the honors program for a minimum of six semesters and his or her letter of recommendation for college will be signed by both Prozdor's principal, Russell Braman, and the dean of The Davidson School, Dr. Jeff Kress.

For online classes, go to Jolt: Jewish Online Learning for Teens to read descriptions of fall online course offerings. Please register with them directly and let us know that your child will be taking an online course.
