The Jewish Theological Seminary (JTS) Counseling Center invites applications for an anticipated Staff Psychologist/Counselor position.
This is a part-time position (up to 20 hours weekly) expected to start in August 2014.
JTS Counseling Center provides mental health services to the student community. The Staff Psychologist/Counselor works with a multidisciplinary staff of psychologists, social workers, and psychology interns to deliver services that maintain the highest standards of professional and ethical care. The Staff Psychologist/Counselor has responsibility for the following: provide individual services to students including initial assessment, diagnosis, and determination of treatment needs; conduct individual psychotherapy with students; conduct crisis interventions as needed during after-hours/weekend emergency on-call rotation; supervise pre-doctoral intern; administrative duties as requested; and provide outreach services to the university community.
